PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Rhode Island State Police say they have arrested nine men suspected of crimes that exploit children, including seven charged with possessing child pornography.

The suspects were arrested on Tuesday by police executing a series of search warrants around the state.

Assorted digital media was also seized, which is believed to contained evidence related to victimization of children.

The men arrested on possession and transfer of child pornography charges are from Providence, Cranston, Warwick, West Warwick, Woonsocket and Portsmouth and ranged in age from 20 to 60.

In addition, a 60-year-old Providence man was charged with soliciting a 14 year-old girl for sexual purposes; and a 20-year-old Providence man was charged with of video voyeurism.
