LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska basketball coach Tim Miles has announced two scholarship players and one walk-on are leaving the program at the end of the semester.

They are sophomore center Sergej Vucetic, freshman guard Nathan Hawkins and freshman walk-on guard Tim Wagner.

Miles said in a statement Wednesday that while he’s disappointed to lose the players, he supports their goals of playing larger roles elsewhere.

The 7-foot-1 Vucetic totaled 12 points and six rebounds in 18 career games. The Serbian played in seven games this past season.

Hawkins, from Garland, Texas, averaged 1.4 points in 16 games. He scored a season-high 11 points against Michigan on Feb. 5.

Wagner, from Galesville, Wis., redshirted this past season because of an ankle injury.
