Police: Details on Flint crimes now posted online

FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Flint police say details on crimes in the city are now available online.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1i1Wefg ) the Flint Police Department on Tuesday announced that the CrimeMapping.com website will offer the information.

Types of crime include homicide, assault, arson and larceny. A public demonstration is planned Wednesday at the Flint Public Library.

The website offers information from some other communities nationwide, including Detroit, Lansing and Grand Rapids in Michigan.
