YUCAIPA, Calif. (AP) - California prison officials are searching for a minimum-security inmate who walked away from the Riverside County prison camp while serving a four-year burglary sentence.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation says 49-year-old James Steven Murray was last seen in his dorm room at Oak Glen Conservation Camp near Yucaipa on Friday at about 8:20 p.m. during a routine security check.

Murray is serving a four-year sentence for second-degree burglary and was scheduled to be released on Aug. 28, 2015.

Law enforcement agencies have been notified and are assisting in the search. Murray is described as 5‘9 and 155 lbs with brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to call the Oak Glen Conservation Camp Commander at (909) 797-0196
