BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. (AP) - State Law Enforcement Division arson investigators are looking into the cause of fire that destroyed a church in Bennettsville on Easter night.

Fire departments from Bennettsville, Clio and McColl responded to the fire at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday. It took firefighters about four hours to extinguish the fire that gutted the building.

SLED agents were at the scene on Monday investigating with the help of arson dogs.
