DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa Realty has dropped its lawsuit against competitor Keller Williams.

The Des Moines Register says (https://dmreg.co/1trCfQd ) the move last week came after a Polk County judge threw out several claims from West Des Moines-based Iowa Realty.

The lawsuit filed in October 2013 alleged that Austin, Texas-based Keller Williams filed an earlier lawsuit as an attempt to embarrass Iowa Realty and that Keller Williams never intended the courts to resolve the matter. Keller Williams dropped its lawsuit in August 2013. The Keller Williams lawsuit alleged unfair competition and other claims.

In an April 8 ruling, Judge Scott Rosenberg dismissed Iowa Realty’s claims that Keller Williams defamed Iowa Realty, caused special injury and abused the legal process.
