PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A passing jogger helped rescue a man who fell into the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.

WPVI-TV (https://bit.ly/PnGxI2) said it happened around 6:30 a.m. Monday near Boathouse Row.

Authorities said the victim was in a boat with another man when he suffered a seizure and ended up in the water.



A jogger passing through the area saw what had happened and helped pull the man to safety.

The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

There was no immediate word on his condition. His name wasn’t released.
