A Texas police officer is being investigated after a video showed him kicking and tripping high school students as they rushed onto the soccer field after a big win Saturday.

The video, taken by a student at Vandegrift High School, clearly shows a uniformed Georgetown police officer kick a male student, causing the student to tumble to the ground, and then trying to kick a female student, only to miss.

The officer’s name has not been released. A police spokesman said officials are investigating the incident to determine whether the officer should be placed on administrative leave.

“Georgetown administrators have taken the information and will be forwarding it to internal affairs for review and investigation,” said Capt. Roland Waits, as reported by a local NBC affiliate.

A different video on YouTube shows the girl who fell limping off the field and the same officer grabbing a male student. The station said another video shows the officer pushing two girls off the field.

“He should’ve used better judgment,” student Rohan Gupta told the station. “We’re high schoolers just trying to have some fun after our team won.”
