HUNLOCK CREEK, Pa. (AP) - A father and son have been shot to death in northeastern Pennsylvania and police say they have arrested two people in connection with the crime.

Pennsylvania State Police in Shickshinny said troopers found the two adult victims around 1 p.m. Wednesday at a home in Hunlock Township, Luzerne County.

Trooper Martin Connors said one victim was found dead on the back deck and the other victim was inside.

He said a police helicopter spotted James Roche and Holly Crawford of Sweet Valley hiding in a wooded area not far from the scene of the shooting. They were arrested without incident.

The victims’ names have not been released.

The shootings occurred a few hundred yards from a school, which was placed on lockdown until the suspects were in custody.
