FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - The Frederick County Fire Marshal’s Office has ordered a ban on outdoor burning.

The ban, which took effect Wednesday morning, continues until 6:00 a.m. Friday.

All outdoor burning, including recreational fires, is prohibited.

The Fire Marshal’s Office says the National Weather Service states that gusty winds, low relative humidity and low fuel moisture increase the threat of wildfires.
