NAUGATUCK, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut woman whose infant daughter died this week says the baby became ill after a doctor recently changed her formula.

Heather Brown says she found her 1-month-old daughter unresponsive in her crib Tuesday morning at their home in Naugatuck. She says her baby was sick and had thrown up after the doctor changed the formula.

Brown called 911 and emergency responders performed CPR on the girl, but she died at Waterbury Hospital.

Naugatuck police are investigating the baby’s death and have called in state police for help. The medical examiner’s office will be performing an autopsy to try to determine how the infant died.
