MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a 77-year-old woman was killed and another woman was injured in a crash near Millsboro.
The crash happened Tuesday night, when police say the women turned left from southbound Banks Road onto Friendship Drive and the car hit a northbound car.
Police say passenger Patricia Murphy and the 75-year-old woman who was driving the car were taken to Beebe Hospital, where Murphy was pronounced dead. Police say the driver suffered injuries to her lower body that are not considered life-threatening. The driver of the other car was not injured.
The crash is under investigation and police say no charges have been filed.
