WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) - A Waukesha doctor is charged with attacking her estranged husband and leading police on a chase before she was shocked with a stun gun and arrested.

A criminal complaint says 49-year-old Jan Doenier violated a court order to stay away from the family’s Town of Delafield residence Monday night and struck her husband. She denied vandalizing his truck.

The complaint says she drove by a squad car with her lights off and officers gave chase. Authorities say she drove 60 mph toward a police blockage and forced officers to run to safety. Doenier was eventually arrested at the Country Springs Hotel where officers say she refused their commands, so they used a stun gun to take her into custody.

The Waukesha Freeman says Doenier is being held on $50,000 cash bail.
