OCEONTA, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama district attorney says Instagram accounts posting photos of teenage girls in her county should be taken down.
Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey tells Al.com that the accounts post teenage girls without their permission under offensive names and violate the photo sharing site’s user terms barring bullying or harassment (https://bit.ly/1k9f87Y).
Casey says she sent a letter to Facebook, which owns Instagram, but hasn’t received a response.
A representative for Instagram said two accounts mentioned by Casey already have been removed.
Casey says Facebook should take steps to stop new ones from being created.
