PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has vetoed a bill that would have created a study committee to look at state agency costs.

Brewer said House Bill 2385 was unnecessary because the state already has the authority to create a committee. The committee would have lasted only one year. The bill was approved narrowly in both chambers along party lines.
