AMES, Iowa (AP) - Iowa State defensive tackle Brandon Jensen has rejoined the Cyclones after quitting the team following the end of last season.

Jensen, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound native of Ankeny, Iowa, started all 12 games at nose guard for Iowa State in 2013. Jensen has played 36 career games for the Cyclones and should immediately reclaim his starting spot.

Jensen’s return should also help the Cyclones overcome the loss of Rodney Coe and David Irving, both defensive linemen who were recently booted off the team.

Devlyn Cousin was the only interior lineman to participate in spring practice for Iowa State.
