TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - A bill that would allow tax collectors to accept concealed weapons permits is going to Gov. Rick Scott.
The Senate unanimously voted for the bill (HB 523) Friday. The House passed it earlier this month.
The bill doesn’t make any other changes to the concealed weapon permit application process, but simply gives gun owners another option to apply for a permit.
