STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - A 7-foot-1-inch junior college center has signed to play basketball at Oklahoma State.

OSU head coach Travis Ford says Anthony Allen has signed with the Cowboys and has two years of eligibility remaining.

Allen comes to OSU from Lamar State College-Port Arthur in Texas where he averaged 11 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.2 blocked shots per game last season.

Allen chose OSU over Oklahoma and Memphis.

Allen is originally from Kingston, Jamaica and played high school basketball in Connecticut.
