FREMONT, Ohio (AP) - The State Highway Patrol says one woman has died after a two-vehicle crash in northwestern Ohio that seriously injured two other women.

A statement by the patrol’s Fremont post says the crash occurred about 7:30 Saturday morning at an intersection in Green Creek Township in Sandusky County.

The patrol say one driver, 69-year-old Judith Hansen of Clyde, was taken by helicopter to a Toledo hospital where she died.

A dispatcher says the driver and a passenger in the second vehicle were taken to hospitals with serious injuries. Their conditions weren’t immediately known.

The patrol says Hansen’s car failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and drove into the path of the second vehicle, which hit Hansen’s car before landing on its side.

The investigation is continuing.
