WICKENBURG, Ariz. (AP) - A teenager is in custody after he allegedly threatened to detonate a bomb at Wickenburg High School.

KNXV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1nQ07bX) that the 16-year-old boy is being held at a juvenile detention facility after being arrested by Wickenburg police Friday morning.

Lt. Amy Sloane says the teen sent a message to the school’s Facebook page, threatening to blow up the school if a certain student was not expelled.

Sloane says the teenage suspect is not a student at the school.

She says authorities have notified the parents of the student named in the message.

The boy faces one count each of threats and intimidation, electronic communications to terrify and interference with an education institution.

Police also served a search warrant on two Phoenix homes related to the boy.
