Man’s body found in area behind baseball field

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A man’s body has been found in an area behind a baseball field in Grand Rapids.

City police Sgt. Steve Labrecque tells The Grand Rapids Press (https://bit.ly/1lXX30F) residents discovered the corpse before 5 p.m. Sunday near the Sullivan Field baseball diamond.

According to Labrecque, police do not know the man’s name or age.

Police say the man’s death does not immediately appear suspicious.
