PELHAM, N.H. (AP) - Three teenagers trying to fish in a New Hampshire pond ended up catching the attention of police.
The Nashua Telegraph reports (https://bit.ly/1hDFDxT ) that the teens from Lowell and Dracut, Mass., were fishing at Pelham Veterans Memorial Park on Friday evening when they released a section of the town-owned dock in attempt to get a better position on the pond to catch fish.
The teens ended up stranded in the middle of the pond after wind pushed the dock away from the shore. A resident rescued them with a boat, and the three teenagers were charged with criminal mischief. One of them also was charged with transporting alcohol.
