GREER, S.C. (AP) - Two people have died and a third person was hurt when a car ran off a road and hit a tree just south of Greer.
Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger says 43-year-old Randy Joe Zumwalt and 51-year-old Debbie Maxine Christopher died in the wreck Saturday night.
Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Gary Miller said a 34-year-old Woodruff woman was hurt in the wreck. She’s being treated at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Miller said Zumwalt was driving and both victims died at the scene.
Clevenger says neither was wearing a seat belt.
