PASCO, Wash. (AP) - A swarm of bees attacked two dogs in a Pasco yard, killing one of them, a 7-and-a-half pound Chihuahua named Ziggy.

Owner Shawna Breedlove tells KNDU (https://bit.ly/1fMr3EI ) veterinarians advised her to put the dog down because it went into shock and could not survive the toxins from more than 150 stingers.

Another dog was in her yard Saturday when hundreds of bees swarmed, but it survived.

Beekkeepers said the bees might have been agitated by the wind that day.
