BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge police are searching for a man who walked into the Regions Bank branch with a handgun and robbed the bank.

Cpl. L’Jean McKneely tells The Advocate (https://bit.ly/QUlUo1 ) the man walked up to a teller at 3:55 p.m. Monday, pulled a gun and demanded money.

After snatching the money from the teller’s hands, McKneely says the robber ran outside toward the rear of the building.

Police say the robber was wearing sunglasses, a dark-colored sweatshirt and red athletic shoes.
