TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (AP) - Police in Traverse City say a man whose body was found floating in Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay near downtown died of accidental drowning.

He’s identified as 35-year-old Jeremy L. Zerbe, who was reported missing Feb. 26.

Police say they believe he died on or about that date.

A woman walking on a dock at Clinch Park Marina spotted Zerbe’s body in the water Monday beneath a wooden raft. An autopsy was performed.
