DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man was shot during a robbery attempt in Dover.

It happened about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on South State Street. Troopers say a man was driving when someone walked in front of his car.

Police say the victim rolled down his window and the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim gave the suspect some cash, but the robber demanded money.

Officers say the suspect shot the victim grazing his forehead, then ran away.

The victim was treated and released at a local hospital.
