SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Police in Sioux Falls want residents to check their cars to see if any items are missing after officers arrested four men suspected of breaking into vehicles.

Authorities say officers tracked down the men after a caller on Thursday reported seeing four people checking car doors.

Police say one of them was found with a credit card that had been taken from a nearby car.

Police identified the men as 19-year-old Alex David Hagen, 18-year-old Austin Eugene Hays, 18-year-old Jordan David Purlee and 18 year-old Jacob Dean Schmidt-Hinrichs.

The Sioux Falls men have been charged with possession of stolen property and criminal entry of a motor vehicle.

Police say officers found other items in the car the men were driving. Authorities are trying to determine whether they were stolen.
