OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Bargain-hunters looking for deals on books, media and educational materials will be in luck later this month.

The University of Central Oklahoma’s Friends of the Library book sale is scheduled April 11-13 in the basement of UCO’s Max Chambers Library.

Items for sale include popular novels, non-fiction books, curriculum materials and DVDs. Hardback books are $2 and paperbacks are 50 cents. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the library and its collections.

Carrie Bond, assistant development manager of Chambers Library, says the book sale raises money to help buy new items for the library’s collections and to support library programming throughout the year. Bond says a large selection of books is available at reasonable prices.

The book sale will begin with a pre-sale for Friends of the Library members.
