SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A man wanted in connection to the killing of a 27-year-old Vallejo man last year has been arrested in Peru.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported Thursday (https://bit.ly/Pr1rGJ ) that the U.S. Marshals Service tracked William Cordoba to the capital city of Lima, where he was arrested by Peruvian authorities March 21.

He is suspected in the killing of Jimmy Richardson, who was shot several times on a Vallejo sidewalk in February 2013.

Extradition proceedings are pending.
