KAILUA, Hawaii (AP) - One of two teens whose escape from the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility forced the closure of three nearby schools has been arrested.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser says (https://bit.ly/1mSk04E ) police arrested the 17-year-old boy in Kailua late Friday. He was taken back to the facility.

Earlier that day, he and another boy ran away during a vocational education class, prompting the school lockdowns as authorities searched for the teens.

State Department of Human Services spokeswoman Kayla Rosenfeld said both boys were at the facility for robberies.
