5-year-old Riverside boy dies after dog attack

RIVERSIDE, Ala. (AP) - Investigators say a 5-year-old Riverside boy was attacked and killed by a neighbor’s pit bull.

WBRC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1e51e77 ) that St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department investigators say the boy was playing in his yard when the dog attacked him around 5 p.m. Sunday.

The dog was sent to an animal clinic. It’s up to the sheriff’s department to decide what happens to the dog.
