EDMOND, Okla. (AP) - The University of Central Oklahoma is hosting its annual Spring Powwow later this month.
The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. on April 13 at the Hamilton Field House on campus. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Central’s Native American Student Association is sponsoring the 42nd annual event.
The event will start with singing and dancing. A traditional Native American dinner of spirit stew, fry bread, grape dumplings and more will start at 5 p.m.
The Grand Entry starts at 7 p.m. and features performers in a variety of categories.
