GORDONVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A 14-year-old Pennsylvania girl driving a horse and buggy has been injured in a crash involving a tractor-trailer.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday in Leacock Township, Lancaster County.

State police say the horse and buggy was turning left when it was struck by a tractor-trailer that was attempting to pass it on the left. The buggy spun and came to rest in a ditch.

Police said the girl suffered a cut to her head and was taken to a hospital for treatment. Her injury was not believed to be life threatening.

The tractor-trailer driver, 24-year-old Jared Kreider of Lancaster, was not injured.

The horse was killed in the crash.
