JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - Police have charged a Pennsylvania man with drunken driving after they say he drove his car through the Holland Tunnel in a closed lane.

Port Authority police pursued 28-year-old Michel Petit-Frere of Easton, Pa., after his care emerged from New York City into Jersey City on Sunday.

The Star-Ledger of Newark (https://bit.ly/1h7khgR ) reports police said in a statement that Petit-Frere failed a sobriety field test.



He’s also charged with eluding, resisting arrest, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and reckless driving.
