GEARY, Okla. (AP) - A man wanted on child rape charges from Geary has been arrested in the Philippines and returned to Oklahoma.

The U.S. Marshals Service says Phillip Vaughn Cox was arrested Feb. 13 at his home near Manila by agents from the Philippines Bureau of Immigration in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Manila.

The marshals service says Cox has now been returned to Oklahoma to face two counts of rape of a child under age 14 in Blaine County.

Online records show Cox is being held in the Blaine County jail and do not list an attorney for him. He was initially charged in 2002.
