NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities say a man arriving at John F. Kennedy International Airport attempted to bring in more than seven pounds of cocaine - hidden in frozen food.

Customs and Border Protection stopped the man last month, after he had come into the country on a flight from Trinidad.

While inspecting his luggage, officials found three packages of frozen meat. They also found white powder in the meat that they say tested positive for cocaine.

The man faces federal drug smuggling charges.
