BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - A Birmingham man has been arrested in the death of a woman whose body was found inside a plastic storage container.
Authorities say 61-year-old Patricia McCain, of Morris, was found Sunday and her body’s state of decomposition suggests she may have died weeks ago. Police say 38-year-old Charles Jordan is charged with murder and is being held on $60,000 bond in the county jail. It’s unclear if he has an attorney.
Police say they’re investigating the woman’s death as a homicide, but it’s unclear exactly how McCain was killed. Police say the two were acquaintances and suspect the two had been using drugs.
