WORLAND, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming Game and Fish officials have planned two free seminars in Meeteetse and Worland to give backcountry enthusiasts tips on protecting themselves from bears, mountain lions and wolves.

The Northern Wyoming Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/1hZkIJV ) the department will hold a meeting on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Meeteetse Museum. Another seminar is set for Monday at the Washakie Museum & Cultural Center in Worland from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The sessions provide information and tools recreationists can use to prevent conflicts and avoid encounters with dangerous animals.
