CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, N.J. (AP) - Autopsy results have led officials to suspect two men in southern New Jersey died after overdosing on heroin.

Police on Friday found a 29-year-old man dead in Middle Township. Officials say a hypodermic needle and an empty bag consistent with heroin were near the body.

On Monday, Lower Township police found a 30-year-old man dead with a needle and empty baggie nearby.

The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office says autopsies concluded both men died of adverse effects of drugs.
