COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - U.S. freestyle wrestling coach Zeke Jones is leaving the national team to take over as head coach at Arizona State.

Jones spent 5½ years as the national freestyle coach. He helped guide the Americans to three medals at the London Olympics in 2012, including golds from Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner.

The U.S. also finished fifth at the 2013 World Championships under Jones.

Jones was a three-time All-American wrestler at Arizona State, and he later won a silver medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

Jones says his goal has been to get back to coaching in college.
