SECAUCUS, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Transit says a brush fire in northern New Jersey is affecting service into and out of New York City.
The fire broke out Monday night in Secaucus, not far from the train tracks.
That spurred NJ Transit to suspend service in both directions on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and MidTown Direct lines. The agency also said it would cross-honor train tickets on PATH, NJT buses and private carrier buses.
