LONDON (AP) - Everton manager Roberto Martinez says a deal has been completed to sign Ghana winger Christian Atsu from Chelsea.

Atsu, who played in the World Cup, spent last season on loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, and looks to have agreed on another year away from Stamford Bridge.

Speaking at the English Premier League’s season launch event in London, Martinez says on Wednesday “we’re expecting Christian Atsu to join us tomorrow (Thursday) - the deal is done with Chelsea.”

The 22-year-old Atsu will join Romelu Lukaku in moving from Chelsea to Goodison Park this offseason, with the Belgium striker having cost Everton a club-record fee of 28 million pounds ($47 million).
