MADRAS, Ore. (AP) - The former coach of the Madras High School girls’ basketball team has been sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual abuse.
KTVZ reports (https://is.gd/MtuqVv ) that 45-year-old Michael Osborne agreed to plead guilty to six of the 25 charges brought against him in Jefferson and Washington counties.
The victim in the case is now 17 years old. She watched tearfully as Jefferson County Judge Annette Hillman imposed the sentence Tuesday.
Hillman told Osborne she hoped he has learned from his poor choices.
