GASSAWAY, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia food bank is giving away some light.
Mountaineer Food Bank in Gassaway says it will receive 40,000 energy-efficient fluorescent light bulbs for distribution through multiple food pantries.
The delivery planned for Thursday is part of an initiative by Appalachian Power to inform customers on energy conservation.
The light bulbs will be distributed in packages of four to 10,000 families.
