RICHLAND, N.Y. (AP) - State police say they’re interested in talking to a man who was seen speaking to several women along a Lake Ontario beach where a New York teenager drowned last weekend.

Troopers says the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office has determined Ann-Rose Shove of Ontario in Wayne County drowned after going for a swim near Brennan’s Beach Campground in the Oswego County town of Richland.

Police say she was camping with her family last weekend when she went for a swim alone around noon Sunday. Two campers spotted her body in the water around 4 p.m.

Troopers say they want to talk to anyone who may have seen the teen that afternoon. They also want to identify a man in his 20’s who was seen speaking with several women along the beach that day.
