Three people were killed inside a District Heights home Friday afternoon in what police are calling a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to a home in the 1500 block of Addison Road South around 4:40 p.m. for a report of gunshots, said Prince George’s County police spokesman Officer Harry Bond. Upon arrival at the home, police officers forced their way inside and found three people with gunshot wounds. One woman was already dead when police arrived. An injured man and woman were transported to hospitals for medical care but both also died from their injuries.

Officer Bond said the shooting appears to be domestic but said investigators have not yet determined which of the three people was the shooter. Police have not released the names of the three individuals killed or given any indication as to how they were related to one another.
