ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Skeletal remains found on the Navajo Nation have been identified as those of a Farmington man, but authorities haven’t determined how he died.

The FBI said Tuesday that DNA analysis determined that the remains are those of Jesse Jacob Estrada Jr. He was 25 years old when last seen by a family member in Farmington in April 2012.

The FBI says a human skull and other bone fragments were found the following month near the Nenahnezad (neh -NAH’-neh-zod) Chapter house in northwestern New Mexico.
