CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming’s unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.4 percent in July.
The rate is up from 4 percent in June. The national jobless rate in July was 6.2 percent.
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says Teton County posted the lowest unemployment rate in the state in July at 3 percent, followed by Sublette at 3.1 percent, Converse at 3.4 percent and Campbell at 3.5 percent.
The highest unemployment rates were found in Fremont, which recorded a 5.8 percent rate. Platte County was the next highest at 5.3 percent, and Big Horn County at 5.2 percent.
