CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) - Additional arrests have been made in the death of a 13-year-old boy who was fatally shot in his bedroom.

Carrollton police Capt. Chris Dobbs tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution 21-year-old Kenneth Wheat and 24-year-old Jackquline Freeman have been charged with murder in the death of Nizzear Rodriguez. Police also say 34-year-old Oledia Ward has been charged with making false statements. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.

Authorities say 17-year-old Malik Davis is also charged with murder, burglary and possession of a firearm by a felon in Rodriguez’s death. Police say it’s unclear which suspect pulled the trigger. Officials from the Carroll County Public Defender Office declined to comment on Davis’ case.

Rodriguez was found dead in his bedroom Sunday and police say the motive that led to the shooting is unclear.
